HALLOWEEN SPECIAL - Seductive Vampire Makeup

Hey everyone!

It's time for look number three in my Halloween series! This time, I wanted to create something more wearable and somewhat less out there than the first two looks. Something a bit more pretty-scary instead of gross-scary. It didn't take me long to decide what that was going to be, since I've been wanting to try this one for a while now ánd because this might be a look I would wear to a Halloween party myself ..
A vampire! And not just a vampire, but a sexy, sultry vampire with nice full lips and sultry smokey eyes. I'm especially in love with the lips, they're so intense! And the great thing is that they look pretty fancy and time-consuming to make, but it actually takes about two minutes to make these. The eyes are also very easy and aren't that different from the ones I did in my gory zombie look, except that they're a bit more neat and blended in this one. All in all, if you wish to look scary, but still somewhat attractive, this is the look for you! Read on to see how I achieved it!

HALLOWEEN SPECIAL - Gory Zombie Makeup (Viewer Discretion Advised =)

Here's the next look of the Halloween series and this one might be less suited to wear to your average party than a dainty skull face. What it actually is, is an out of control attempt to use a homemade special effects gel for creating irregular skin texture and wounds. Let me explain.

I was browsing YouTube, looking for inspiration, when I came across this video about a DIY recipe for prosthetic gel. All you needed to make this gel is gelatin, glycerin and water. I've always admired YouTube guru's who make the craziest prosthetic pieces and create the most realistic special effects using basic prosthetic-making products like scar wax and liquid latex, but since I don't have a special effects makeup store nearby, this seemed like a cool thing that I could try right away. And so I did.

HALLOWEEN SPECIAL - Realistic Skull Makeup

Hello everyone!

Over the years, it has become more and more clear to me that I have the coolest birth date ever. And for anyone who doesn't know me personally; I was born on October 31st, also known as Halloween! I think Halloween is a hugely undercelebrated holiday here in Holland. No trick-or-treating, no scary decorations. If you're lucky there might be a half decent dress-up party somewhere not too far away. So, as a Halloween child, I felt obligated to breathe new life into this day and show everyone how awesome it can be!

That's why I'm going to show you some scary, gory, unsightly Halloween looks that are often way easier to recreate than you might think. I've never, ever done looks like these before, but I'm loving it already. To officially launch this series, I've chosen a classic Halloween symbol that I'd been wanting to try and recreate for a while ..

The skull. *scary movie tune*
